Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter Travel

There’s scarcely any place better to be in October than the Georgia State Fair.  We try to go every year because there’s always so much to see and do.  It’s not just about the rides.  They have a lot of animal shows and the food is every bit as perfect as you’d expect the fair food to be.  From melt in your mouth cotton candy to grandma’s apple dumplings.

And of course, for the shopaholics like me, there’s something to suit every budget and fashion preference.  My favorite handbags were purchased from the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry Georgia.  From competitions to crafts, I can’t stress enough how fun it is to attend the Georgia National Fair.

I always enjoy the music and bands and look forward to hearing them play while we’re walking around taking in the scenery.  And the comedians, oh my gosh! They’re hilarious. We always try to go on armband days because it’s more affordable and the kids can ride unlimited rides (who and I kidding, it’s so I can ride unlimited rides too).

If you missed it this year, schedule it in for next year:  October 4-14, 2018.  See you there.

We love a good carnival. My boys could spend hours going on the rides. This sounds like such a fun place to visit.

The kids love the rides. I have to be very careful of what I ride because of back issues but there’s something for everyone, even folks like me.

I have passed these fairgrounds so many times on a trip to the beach and always say we will come back to the fair! It looks like our entire family is missing out by not attending.

How fun! I just love state fairs. When we lived in Oklahoma we’d go, but now we’re in Texas and it’s like 4 hours away. I miss it though. The food is my favorite!

I have to agree 100%. Tyler learned the hard way not to indulge in the sweet foods before a wild ride though.
