Botanical Gardens Atlanta Travel

While I try to schedule my trips to Atlanta’s gorgeous Botanical Gardens around their events, sometimes I just need to see the beauty they provide year round and with that in mind, I headed to Botanical Gardens on a whim.  While it was going to be a quick trip, it turned into an overnight event and that was okay too.  It meant I got to stay longer and see more. I never tire of the beauty I see there and not just in the Orchids House. They have an edible garden, a children’s garden, a rock garden, a rose garden and just about any other type of garden you can imagine. Everywhere you look they have flowers.  Their “Art in the Garden” exhibits are pretty awesome by themselves.

As far as the food goes, there are so many restaurants near Botanical Gardens or if you’re like me and prefer to eat on site, check out the Longleaf Restaurant. The same with places to stay. There are quite a few in the area to check out.
